The MTS Coaching skills ebooks focus on helping you, the ADI/PDI to deliver great Client Centred Learning lessons to your pupils by exploring the techniques which enable your pupil to develop key skills such as evaluation, self-evaluation and responsibility for the task, the skills which will increase their chances of driving safely post-test and reduce their chances of becoming a statistic.

It spotlights the elusive ‘Coaching Questions’ which enable the learner to effectively explore their thoughts and feelings and address the biggest factors in post-test collisions. This ebook explains which questions should be asked on the move and for what purpose, and relates these to the DVSA’s advice and expectations, and also which questions should be asked at the side of the road. Perhaps most importantly it explains which questions should not be asked at all and debunks the myth that while the wheels are turning the ADI should be regularly asking questions of the learner.

MTS – SMOOTH Scaling provides the instructor with a comprehensive model for self-evaluation and evaluation of task, to empower the learner to address their own strengths and weaknesses and find solutions for development. Each step of the model is broken down to help your pupils to evaluate and take responsibility, while a case study lays out the effectiveness of the model.
