Our founder
Our founder, Alan Baker, has extensive years of experience in the automotive industry and has a well-established relationship with the approved driving instructor community. In 2016 he resolved that the need for a single central hub to serve the UK’s many thousands of new drivers and approved driving instructors – a one-stop-shop for everyone involved with the process of learning to drive – and so the New Driver Programme was born.
